About Us

We are a part of the Presbyterian Church (USA), which is often called a “big tent.” This means there are lots of different kinds of churches under this one umbrella. You’ll find more traditional churches as well as wildly progressive churches in this denomination. Church of the Arts is in the progressive category, which means everyone is welcome and everyone is included, and that we will try new things in worship. Our primary focus is on sharing God’s love. We strive to be a judgment-free zone, knowing that everyone is on a different part of the journey of faith.
